  • GREETINGS! Everything you need to start your trek is right here. NO fancy long forms, or winded info that goes on and on. Would be advantageous to print this page(s) for your records before submitting. Any other correspondence, including flight information, will be done via email, and attaches as pdf. After registering, please immediately reach out to make a deposit or payment. Deposits are $1000.00 for any trek over $10,000. $500.00 for any trek $2000.00 or more, or $100.00 for any trek under 2000.00. Amounts may vary for deposits depending on trek type and if participant has previously been on trek with Turtle. Deposits are non-refundable. Treks can also be paid in full. Contact for a discount if payment is made in full for any trek over 2000.00. Payments may be made via Zelle, Venmo, or Apple Pay. Payment number is 629-292-6200. Please only use Apple Pay or Direct Bank Transfer for any amounts over 2000.00. You can also pay by check or cash. Apple pay and Venmo preferred for amounts under 700 and Direct Bank Transfer preferred for amounts over 7000. Contact me for payment information, or to set up a payment plan after your deposit. Balances can be brought in person the day we meet up for trek, as long as the balance owed isn't astronomical. Please reach out for bank routing and account numbers to send via ACH transfer or the like.

    Please make sure anyone that signs up or if you are signing up now and new to the program, that you, or they, can handle the rigors of being away from home for long periods of time, much downtown to explore the cities and countries we will be at, intense often physically demanding exploration, be in top pyhsical shape (or the ability to condition yourself to be at that level while on trek), and the innate ability to understand that change happens, occurs and your understanding that itineraries can change at any time, for any number of reasons, and by signing up below, you take into consideration that places, countries, treks, the planned itineraries, guided tours or trips, flights, hours, and length of trip can be changed.

WE DO NOT REQUIRE ANY ADVANCED DEPOSIT IMMEDIATELY UPON REGISTRATION, SO PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP UNLESS YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT ATTENDING.     I hereby give my approval for my child’s participation in any and all activities prepared by Turtle's High Adventures during the selected trek understanding that I will receive a detailed itinerary of the exact activities, and inherent risks of such activities. Any extra super high adventure activities not on itineraries furnished, or extra opportunities that arise while on trek, will be fashioned to me for approval before participation, without exception. In exchange for the acceptance of said Scout by Turtle's High Adventures, I assume all risk and hazards incidental to the conduct of the activities, and release, absolve and hold harmless Turtle's High Adventures and the Boy Scouts of America, Turtle, and all its respective coaches, agents, guides and representatives from any and all liability for injuries to said child arising out of traveling to, participating in, or returning from selected camp sessions.

    In case of injury to said child/participant, I hereby waive all claims against Turtle's High Adventures and Turtle, including all guides and affiliates, all participants, sponsoring agencies, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event. The risk of injury in nature is ever present, and obstacles man made and other are a part of the natural trails and roads of such activities, including the addition and risk of inclement weather or the like. There is a risk of being injured that is inherent in all extreme activies. Some of these injuries include, but are not limited to, the risk of fractures, paralysis, or death.

    An additional liability release from any other associated guide company while on trek, may/will also be sent under separate cover, as well as copies of Insurance Information in which participant and/or parent/guaradian can bring at the time of physical check-in. Each participant is listed as additionally insured by Turtles High Adventure for general liability insurance. A thick pdf copy of the insurance policy listing what is and what is not covered can be furnished at any time. The insurance does not include rescue out of or after 100 feet of climbing. All high altitude insurane is at the sole discretion of each participant, and if a moutain or sea, or land resuce requires heli lift or the like, you are fully responsible for any charges financailly incrued from said rescue.

    [YOU or your son/daughters participation if Under-18), will also be insured through Turtles High Trek's general liability insurance and listed as additionally insured. Copies of said policy naming participant as additionally insured will be furnished at check in/drop off for your records.]

  • Medical Release and Authorization

    As Parent and/or Guardian of the named athlete, I hereby authorize the diagnosis and treatment by a qualified and licensed medical professional, of the minor child, in the event of a medical emergency, which in the opinion of the attending medical professional, requires immediate attention to prevent further endangerment of the minor’s life, physical disfigurement, physical impairment, or other undue pain, suffering or discomfort, if delayed.

    Permission is hereby granted to the attending physician to proceed with any medical or minor surgical treatment, x-ray examination and immunizations for the named athlete. In the event of an emergency arising out of serious illness, the need for major surgery, or significant accidental injury, I understand that every attempt will be made by the attending physician to contact me in the most expeditious way possible. This authorization is granted only after a reasonable effort has been made to reach me.

    Release authorized on the dates and/or duration of the registered trek.

    This release is authorized and executed of my own free will, with the sole purpose of authorizing medical treatment under emergency circumstances, for the protection of life and limb of the named minor, in my absence.

Many options will be available for each participant to choose what they are comfortable doing for each service project. We will spend a month or longer in various continents with stays at one location for the duration of each service project.
