GREETINGS! Everything you need to start your trek is right here. NO fancy long forms, or winded info that goes on and on. Would be advantageous to print this page(s) for your records before submitting. Any other correspondence, including flight information, will be done via email, and attaches as pdf. After registering, please immediately reach out to make a deposit or payment. Deposits are $1000.00 for any trek over $10,000. $500.00 for any trek $2000.00 or more, or $100.00 for any trek under 2000.00. Amounts may vary for deposits depending on trek type and if participant has previously been on trek with Turtle. Deposits are non-refundable. Treks can also be paid in full. Contact for a discount if payment is made in full for any trek over 2000.00. Payments may be made via Zelle, Venmo, or Apple Pay. Payment number is 629-292-6200. Please only use Apple Pay or Direct Bank Transfer for any amounts over 2000.00. You can also pay by check or cash. Apple pay and Venmo preferred for amounts under 700 and Direct Bank Transfer preferred for amounts over 7000. Contact me for payment information, or to set up a payment plan after your deposit. Balances can be brought in person the day we meet up for trek, as long as the balance owed isn't astronomical. Please reach out for bank routing and account numbers to send via ACH transfer or the like.

Please make sure anyone that signs up or if you are signing up now and new to the program, that you, or they, can handle the rigors of being away from home for long periods of time, much downtown to explore the cities and countries we will be at, intense often physically demanding exploration, be in top pyhsical shape (or the ability to condition yourself to be at that level while on trek), and the innate ability to understand that change happens, occurs and your understanding that itineraries can change at any time, for any number of reasons, and by signing up below, you take into consideration that places, countries, treks, the planned itineraries, guided tours or trips, flights, hours, and length of trip can be changed.

Informed Consent and Acknowledgement

I hereby give my approval for my child’s participation in any and all activities prepared by Turtle's High Adventures during the selected trek understanding that I will receive a detailed itinerary of the exact activities, and inherent risks of such activities. Any extra super high adventure activities not on itineraries furnished, or extra opportunities that arise while on trek, will be fashioned to me for approval before participation, without exception. In exchange for the acceptance of said Scout by Turtle's High Adventures, I assume all risk and hazards incidental to the conduct of the activities, and release, absolve and hold harmless Turtle's High Adventures and the Boy Scouts of America, Turtle, and all its respective coaches, agents, guides and representatives from any and all liability for injuries to said child arising out of traveling to, participating in, or returning from selected camp sessions.

In case of injury to said child/participant, I hereby waive all claims against Turtle's High Adventures and Turtle, including all guides and affiliates, all participants, sponsoring agencies, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event. The risk of injury in nature is ever present, and obstacles man made and other are a part of the natural trails and roads of such activities, including the addition and risk of inclement weather or the like. There is a risk of being injured that is inherent in all extreme activies. Some of these injuries include, but are not limited to, the risk of fractures, paralysis, or death.

An additional liability release from any other associated guide company while on trek, may/will also be sent under separate cover, as well as copies of Insurance Information in which participant and/or parent/guaradian can bring at the time of physical check-in. Each participant is listed as additionally insured by Turtles High Adventure for general liability insurance. A thick pdf copy of the insurance policy listing what is and what is not covered can be furnished at any time. The insurance does not include rescue out of or after 100 feet of climbing. All high altitude insurane is at the sole discretion of each participant, and if a moutain or sea, or land resuce requires heli lift or the like, you are fully responsible for any charges financailly incrued from said rescue.

[YOU or your son/daughters participation if Under-18), will also be insured through Turtles High Trek's general liability insurance and listed as additionally insured. Copies of said policy naming participant as additionally insured will be furnished at check in/drop off for your records.]
Medical Release and Authorization

As Parent and/or Guardian of the named athlete, I hereby authorize the diagnosis and treatment by a qualified and licensed medical professional, of the minor child, in the event of a medical emergency, which in the opinion of the attending medical professional, requires immediate attention to prevent further endangerment of the minor’s life, physical disfigurement, physical impairment, or other undue pain, suffering or discomfort, if delayed.

Permission is hereby granted to the attending physician to proceed with any medical or minor surgical treatment, x-ray examination and immunizations for the named athlete. In the event of an emergency arising out of serious illness, the need for major surgery, or significant accidental injury, I understand that every attempt will be made by the attending physician to contact me in the most expeditious way possible. This authorization is granted only after a reasonable effort has been made to reach me.

Release authorized on the dates and/or duration of the registered trek.

This release is authorized and executed of my own free will, with the sole purpose of authorizing medical treatment under emergency circumstances, for the protection of life and limb of the named minor, in my absence.

'26 CAMINO FRANCIS (ADD-ON) Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage Winter Thru Hike* February 25-March 25, 2026A winter hike of the infamous Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage trail in Spain and France. The way of Saint James or the French Way, and its variants because of potential trail closures. Winter gear needed. Will immediately head to Paris after finishing Ben Nevis in Scotland. You can pay OYO (on your own and join us after Scotland) or book the add on here and ill take care of flights there, some group meals, ground transportation and lodging. You will depart to either Barcelona or Bordeaux after the Scottish trek, and then bus/train to the beginning of the Camino in Saint Jean Pied du Port.

'26 SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS WINTER TREK *FEBRUARY 1-22/23, 2026*A winter hike of two of Scotlands National Trails. The Great Glen Way, and the West Highland Way. Refer back to trek page and link on turtles homepage for more info. A trek that could as quiet and surreal in winter as amazing as it was in the summer. BE prepared for rigorous winter conditions and have the appropriate gear for such a trek or ask to be given recommendations. This is our first international trek in winter. Since this trek in 6 months away, this trek needs to be paid in full please. If you can only do a deposit, please reach out to me immediately after signing up. Intense Traditional R2R2R * MAY 16-24/25, 2026 * INVITE ONLY * Please Do NOT sign up unless you have been invited Fly into Denver or SLC - Prep Canyonlands, Island in the Sky, Utah (Lathrop Trail to the rivers bottom overnight and back), day hikes Zion, overnight Bryce Canyon. GC R2R2R at end of Utah Road Trip. R2R2R Traditional. You must finish the entire trek. You are responsible for getting back to the Srim, if you are unable to finish the Trek once you get to the NRim. Traditional. One or two hours rest on NRim trailhead, and immediately drop back in. (You can take more time on the NRim obviously if you need it to rest). Cost associated is core cost, and covers flights, food, permits, camping, ground transportation, hotel stays, etc. Includes full trek insurance. Casual R2R2R w/TRT Hike (snow permitting) - *October 1, 2026 - October 20th * Please Do NOT sign up unless you are invitedOur usual R2R2R, with stay on the NRim area (if open). Prep in Flagstaff with casual hike before heading to SRim. After our R2R2R, we will head to Lake Tahoe and attempt a full thru hike of the Tahoe Rim Trail, snow permitting. If the snow is in some areas, we can take show shoes with us, or snow shoe spikes and traverse, or just do parts that have no snow. We can discuss as a group. Fly into LV, fly out of Reno or LA area. Cost associated is core cost, and covers flights, food, permits, camping, ground transportation, hotel stays, etc. Includes full trek insurance. 2026 A.T. Section Hike - PA/NY/NJ * May 29-June 10All-inclusive: round trip airfare to NYC, bus transportation to Delaware Water Gap from Port Authority (A.T.). A really awesome Appalachian Trail hike from PA border into Bear Mountain NY. At the end we will hike across the Hudson River Bridge, and take the Metro North Train back to Manhattan. Includes hike across the Delaware Water Gap Bridge, and stays in High Point State Park, Harriman State Park, Rattlesnake Mountain, marshes and nature reserves, great places to cowboy camp, and cool restaurants in Uniondale NY, and Branchville NJ. Turtle has done this section more than any other on the entire A.T. (around 20 times). The price of this is significantly higher than most treks this short, because of the enormous cost of stays in the city and bus tickets our of the city.

45-Day - GREECE, CYPRUS, MACEDONIA- Section hike parts of the E4 Long Distance Trail. Crete, Tripoli, Sparti (Sparta), Gythio... Athens guided tours of historical sites, many awesome beach stays along the way. Beaches galore. *June 10 -July 25-28, 2026*JUNE 8- JULY 25-28, 2026. All inclusive. Depart NYC. If you sign up for this trek you can come to the A.T. Hike free which is before this one and use it as a training and prep for the long distance Greek Experience. Includes two day Athens Ruins and sightseeing tour to start. Will do sections of E4 near many Greek historical areas and mythology experiences. Your choice. 2029 A YEAR ABROAD - with Volunteering and Working with community outreach, at risk or heavily burdened communities, building or constructing various projects, working on farms, nature projects or Conservancy Work, or whatever skill you possess that can aid in giving back to those who are impoverished or need assistance - similar to the Peace Corps programs. Many options will be available for each participant to choose what they are comfortable doing for each service project. We will spend a month or longer in various continents with stays at one location for the duration of each service project. In between each volunteer duration, we will sightsee, do thru hikes or plan opportunities for exploring - RTW 4.0 4 spots only (December 28, 2029- November 28, 2030)11 months abroad - 3-4 weeks in each country.
