Gravity Racing Challenge

Thank you for participating in the 2023 Akron Gravity Racing Challenge STEM Team Competition. Teams must be registered no later than Friday, April 28, 2023. All team information will be collected via online registration.

NOTE: All team cars MUST be registered together for a time slot. Payment information will appear after submitting the completed registration. If payment is not received by the registration deadline your team(s) will not be permitted to participate.

This year each team will schedule their own time to visit Derby Downs. The team will be the only group in attendance during their scheduled time while at Derby Downs. Team Day will include the following activities:

- Inspections
- Weigh-In
- Fun runs for each team member
- Trial runs for team car(s)
- Mini Car Competition (if applicable)
- Team Photo
- Official timed runs in lanes one and three

This year each team will take official timed runs during their team day in both lanes one and three. The team at the end of GRC with the best average time will be crowned champion!
