You are cordially invited to join the Warren County Community Emergency Response Team. Attend as an individual or get a group from your neighborhood, your church, club or workplace and train as a team.
We learn to help our self and our community in times of an emergency or disaster when professional responders are not immediately available.
Our program educates you about disaster preparedness for hazards that may affect the area. We train you in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations. Using the training learned in the classroom and during exercises, you and other CERT members can assist your neighborhood or workplace following an event when professional responders may be delayed. CERT members also are encouraged to support emergency response agencies by taking a more active role in emergency preparedness projects in their community. You must be age 18 or above to join CERT. If under age 18, you can attend the training class but not join until age 18.
