INITIAL Concealed Carry License training: The State of Illinois requires 16 hours of training and a live fire qualification for an Illinois Concealed Carry license (CCL). This is covered over two 8 hour classes. It is possible to be exempt from the first 8 hour class with certain requirements or prior training. Otherwise, it is required that you register for the two day training.

We do NOT have a program for a 4 hour exemption (permit from other accepted state or Hunter Safety program).

RENEWAL Concealed Carry License training: The State of Illinois requires training and live fire qualification to renew a current Illinois CCL. Our renewal course is approximately 4-5 hours and includes live fire qualification.

PAYMENT IS REQUIRED IN FULL at the start of the first session. Cash or credit is accepted for payment. There is a 3% fee for credit card use.

A $25 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your seat in the class. The balance is payable prior to the start of the first class. You can also select to pay for your class in full, in advance, with the online option below.

There is a 3% charge for online and credit card payments. COUPON CODES can not be applied for DEPOSIT ONLY option, but can be applied to balance of payment when presented prior to the start of class.

The Illinois Concealed Carry License qualification requires 16 hours of instruction.
- 8 Hours of basic firearm education
- 8 Hours of Illinois code review and live fire qualification
There is an available exemption for the first 8 hour IL class which will require verification of one of the following. See www.ispfsb.com for specific requirements.

You will be required to sign a standard waiver form prior to class
Each day of IL CCL classes run from 8am-5pm (less for Renewal), beginning promptly at 8am. Other types of classes may start at a different time. Please check schedule.
There will be a short break for lunch. You can bring your own lunch (preferred), or there is a limited number of local lunch options to purchase food.
A handgun and holster are needed for live fire qualification and holster draw instruction, where applicable
- You can bring your own handgun and holster (preferred)
- We can make handguns available for live fire qualification - $10 rental fee
  - You must purchase ammunition from us when using our handguns
- Hearing and eye protection is required. Bring your own or you can purchase from us.
A minimum of 150 rounds of ammunition are required
- You can bring your own ammunition for personal firearms or you can purchase from us as a convenience. Must be purchased from us for use with our guns.
NO AMMUNITION will be allowed in the classroom at ANY TIME

Minimum class size of 4 participants is required, maximum of 12 participants per class. Scheduled classes can be cancelled due to low participation - participation will be rescheduled to another scheduled class where available.
