After an extended run at the Manhattan Theatre Club in NYC that finished in July, FUSION is proud to present the regional premiere of FULFILLMENT CENTER.
Amidst the great fanfare that has both Albuquerque and Dona Ana County answering the RFP in a bid to become the location for Amazon’s second headquarters, FUSION delivers a play direct from NYC that has both New Mexico and a fulfillment center as its backdrop. The production is directed by FUSION co-founder Jacqueline Reid and stars Bruce Holmes, AZ's Lillie Richardson, Laurie Thomas and LA's James Wagner.
Koogler, a winner of the Kennedy Center's Paula Vogel Award and Williamstown Theatre Festival's Weissberger Award, saw this play enjoy an extended run at the Manhattan Theatre Club that ended in July. FUSION is proud to be presenting the regional premiere.
We all want it …fulfillment…in our relationships, in our careers, in our shopping carts. Abe Koogler gets this desire as he sets his personae on a collision course of events and illuminations against the backdrop of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Just arriving from NYC, Alex takes a position as the company manager of a fulfillment center. He’s persuaded his long-time girlfriend to join him in the Land of Enchantment as he works to hire his crew including a poor man’s Joni Mitchell who finds herself attached to a wanderer in “an ugly-hot way.”
