Cabrillo College Engineering Scholarship
The Engineering Department will award scholarships ranging in value from $100 to $2,000 for the next academic year: 2022-23. The underlying principle of these awards is to provide financial support to Cabrillo engineering majors while encouraging and rewarding excellence in academic achievement. Recipients will be current engineering students who will be attending college full-time the following fall at either Cabrillo or a transfer university. To be considered for the scholarship, you must be a Cabrillo engineering major enrolled in or have completed at least one semester of calculus (math 5A/5B), and one physics course (4A) or one engineering transfer course (1A, 5, 10, 15, 25, 35, 45) during the application year. In selecting students to receive awards, the committee will consider especially, but not exclusively, (1) academic performance, (2) perseverance, (3) the number of lower division engineering courses completed (see list of courses on application), (4) financial need; and (5) ethnic and gender balance among applicants. We ask demographic information below because some donors have specified scholarship requirements.
