Gleneagle Country Club Association
Architectural Control Committee Project Request Instructions
If you are changing your landscape, building a fence or shed, installing a hot tub, painting your house (even the same color), re-roofing your home, pouring a concrete walkway or patio, or making any other substantial changes on the outside of your home or yard, a plan needs to be provided to the Architectural Control Committee (ACC) for review and approval. Please note that the ACC has up to 30 days to respond with an approval or denial of your request. Some major projects require a building permit through the City of Arlington – it is the homeowner’s responsibility to acquire any necessary permits.
When submitting a plan to the ACC, the following items need to be provided in your plans. One (1) set of plans needs to be provided for approval. The plans may be hand-drawn or drawn on a computer and shall include the following, along with this form:
- North arrow
- Whether or not you live on the golf course
- Whether or not your proposed project will be visible from the street, the golf course, private drive, public way or a common area
- Explain what you are planning to construct or modify
- Describe the materials you are planning to use and their final colors
- Provide a color sample of your proposed project (if painting)
- All measurements and dimensions of the project
- Show distance to fences, streets, your house and to the property line
- If making or changing drain fields, an engineer may need to help you in your design and flow calculations
Read the CC&R’s, Rules & Regulations, and ACC Guidelines to ensure that your project meets all of the requirements.
Please submit a separate form for each project to ensure a prompt response.
Submit your completed form(s) and all required documents to the ACC using one of the following methods:
- Submit through the following electronic form,
- Email project request form(s) and supporting documents to GCCAsubmittal@gmail.com, OR
- Drop your form(s) into The ACC dropbox, which is located at the Gleneagle Golf Course Clubhouse (on the exterior of the building to the left of the front doors).
If you have questions prior to making your request, please contact the ACC Committee at: ACCGleneagle@gmail.com
Note: If you have already started your project without approval and one set of plans, you are in violation of the Gleneagle Country Club’s Covenants and you may be subject to fines, removal or demolition of your project, or all of the above.
