A. ICC Foundational Documents
All ICC Conciliators fully agree to the ICC Core Documents: Peacemaker's Pledge, Statement of Faith, ICC Distinctives, Standard of Conduct, Rules of Procedure for Christian Conciliation. See www.iccpeace.com for more information.
B. Required Reading: The following resources will help you explore the basics of Biblical Peacemaking. Completion required prior to entering the candidacy program.

C. Required Practicum Training: A four-day practicum in conflict coaching and biblical mediation is required for candidacy as a Certified Christian Conciliator™. Completion of foundational training is required to enter the candidacy program. Training must be through the ICC or an approved ICC Training Provider and instructor evaluations are required. See the online Training Calendar at www.iccpeace.com for an updated list of opportunities.
ICC Official Application
D. Apply: Submit your official application with a non-refundable fee of $150. Accepted applicants have 1 year to enroll in the candidacy program. Applications can be received before or after successfully completing the training practicums.
Overview of the Candidacy Program
For ICC Certified Christian Conciliators™ Approved applicants must complete all training requirements before applying for candidacy. Candidates submit a required $750. Candidates complete a minimum of 10 cases (5 mediation cases) and fulfill a minimum of 50 hours of total casework with oversight from an ICC Advisor on all case reports. (Cases are not provided by the ICC.) An additional advanced training course is required, as well as a teaching component prior to completing the candidacy program. The ICC allows up to 3 years to satisfactorily complete candidacy requirements.
For ICC Conflict Coaches™: Candidates can opt to complete all conflict coaching requirements and forego mediation requirements if desired. Candidates who are certified as ICC Conflict Coaches™ are not certified to mediate cases. Annual renewal requirements are the same for coaches and mediators.
All Certifications: Candidates notify the ICC when they have completed all requirements. A Graduation Review committee reviews the candidate's progress, such as Advisor recommendations, instructor evaluations, case evaluations, and case feedback. The graduation application is under review and may include a video interview and registrar fee.
The Candidacy Program is a 1-3 year process, during which time candidates are invited be a part of the network of Certified Christian Conciliators™. A $250 fee is charged for an annual extension beyond three years.
The process follows as below for the Candidacy program:

* Application for Graduation Review
* Pastor and Advisor Recommendation for Graduation
* Candidate Review Board Approval for Graduation
* Approved: ICC Conflict Coach™ or ICC Certified Christian Conciliator™
Annual Certification Renewal: All ICC Conciliators update their certification annually by submitting a renewal fee of $150*, an updated pastor reference, and continued education and experience requirements. *The renewal fee is subject to change.
