Thank you for your interest in the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine (WFIRM) 2018 Summer Scholars Program in translational regenerative medicine. We look toward reviewing your application. All application materials, including letters of recommendation and "official" transcripts, must be received by the January 15, 2018 application deadline. All applicants will be notified regarding the status of their application on or before March 31, 2018. Please read all of the following instructions and see the Summer Scholar Timeline and FAQ posted on the website for additional details regarding the application process, program and review timelines.
All applicants must be 18 years of age on or before the first day of the 2018 Summers Scholar Program and meet the following criteria:
- Be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident of the U.S. or be eligible to work in the U.S. at WFIRM for the 10-week summer program.
- Have a cumulative GPA of 2.85 or higher (4.0 scale)
- Be currently enrolled at time of application in a degree-granting program at an undergraduate college, community college or university in the U.S., Puerto Rico or other U.S. territory.
- Have completed at least two semesters of undergraduate education by the start of the 2018 Summer Scholar Program.
A completed application packet includes:
- Completed on-line application form
- Two letters of Recommendation
- Most recent "official" academic transcript(s)
