Please read the following document carefully. By submitting and signing this application you have read and agree to all terms of the Walnut Road Elementary School Holiday Market - 16152 82 Ave., Surrey, BC - Saturday, December 2, 2017 10a.m.-3p.m.
Policies & Guidelines
1) 30+ tables based on hand made items. Direct sales will not be offered at this time. 2) Only crafts that are listed on your application and approved can be sold. 3) The committee reserves the right to have any unlisted items removed from a crafter’s table, or prohibit the sale of items which are considered objectionable. 4) Please do not “fundraise” for a non-profit group at your table, i.e. no raffles at tables, no exception. 5) While we will do our best to place crafters as requested, there are no guarantees. Final placement is at the discretion of the Walnut Road Holiday Market Organizing Committee. Every effort will be made to confirm your spot in our Market as quickly as possible. 6) Walnut Road PAC will supply 6ft tables depending on availability. The committee reserves the right to alter the assigned area or layout of the event without any notice. Crafters are required to bring either white, red or black tablecloths/coverings and conceal all storage bins.

Setup & Takedown
1) Opportunity for set-up will be provided on Saturday, December 2nd from 8:45a.m.-9:45a.m. 2) The crafter shall be set-up complete by 9:45a.m. and agrees that the display will remain fully intact until 3p.m. 3) The individual crafter is responsible to maintain a presence at their table during the operating hours of the Market. 4) Walnut Road Elementary and the Committee will not be held responsible for tables which are left unattended. 5) Volunteer parents and students may be available should you need to leave your table for a brief period.

Designated Use of Area
1) If you need more than the allotted 6 feet of space please speak with a Committee Member. 2) Vendors in the gym and main hallway may sit behind the tables but no chairs will be provided. 3) Table displays such as lattice and racks at the ends of tables etc. must be kept below 2ft so as not to block neighbouring tables or view of other crafters. The height of your display should be reachable by you when standing on the floor. 4) No placement of product in the aisles is allowed and they must not interfere with safe traffic flow. 5) Crafters are required to bring either white, red or black tablecloths/coverings and conceal all storage bins. 6) Wall space is available and will be assigned on a first come first served basis. If you receive a wall space you are not to affix anything to the wall by any means. No tape, tacks, etc. 7) No hot food or beverages, cooking, or open flames are allowed at the crafter’s table. 8) The crafter shall not sublet their table to any other person without the prior written permission of the Walnut Road Holiday Market Organizing Committee.

Cancellation & Payment
1) Any cheques returned by your bank must be replaced by certified cheque or cash immediately plus a $20.00 surcharge (within 5 days of the crafter being notified). 2) $25 each table and $5 if electricity is needed. 3) Donate a raffle prize of your work to be displayed in our raffle baskets (minimum value $15). It must be received prior to having your space confirmed. 4) Once placement is confirmed please mail or drop off payment and raffle donation to Walnut Road Elementary School attention PAC Holiday Craft Fair by November 17, 2017. 5) If payment and donation are not received by this date your place will be forfeited and your spot given to the next person on the wait list. 6) Methods of payment: cash/cheque in person, cheque by mail or PayPal online. Cheques should be made payable to Walnut Road PAC. If paying by PayPal, the table fee will be $26 to cover PayPal service charges.

Day of Market Sales
1) I understand I am responsible for collecting all applicable sales tax. 2) I accept that I am responsible for my sales and if goals are not met the event volunteers and the school are not at fault. 3) I will not hold the Walnut Road Elementary PAC or Walnut Road Elementary School or any employees/organizers responsible for theft or damage of any items I bring to sell/display/use at this event. 4) I am selling and participating at your own risk.

1) Join and share the PAC's Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/WalnutRoadPAC ... an event page will soon be posted. 2) Advertise this event within your network of friends, families and colleagues. 3) Once approved for the Holiday Market, a social media badge will be provided to you. Please display it on any of your relevant pages. 4) This Market will be an even bigger success if you promote it! Tell your family & friends. Digital flyers will be made available to you. Please print off and distribute! 5) If you see an online events calendar we are not listed on, please fill in our info and alert us at info@walnutroadpac.ca 6) Your booth and/or personal image may be captured on camera during the Market. By taking part in the Market you agree to these images being used on Social Media and Print.
