  • San Dieguito River Park Scholarship

    Two scholarships of $1000 each will be awarded to students pursuing further education in the fields of biology, environmental studies, or resource management.
  • Who is eligible?

    Applicants must:

    • Be a resident of San Diego County
    • Have successfully completed three years of studies at an accredited high school
    • Be in the their fourth year of high school with a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or better
    • Expect, or have a received, a “notice of intent” to enroll in undergraduate college courses

     

    How do I apply?

    Submit the completed application, 300-500 word essay, two letters of recommendation and an unofficial copy of your transcript of grades.

     

    How are applicants evaluated?

    Applicants will be evaluated as follows:

    • 25% on students activities
    • 25% on academics
    • 25% on original essay
    • 25% on letters of recommendation

     

    Applications must be received in full by May 1, 2019.

    All applicants will be notified by May 15, 2019.
