Who is eligible?
Applicants must:
- Be a resident of San Diego County
- Have successfully completed three years of studies at an accredited high school
- Be in the their fourth year of high school with a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or better
- Expect, or have a received, a “notice of intent” to enroll in undergraduate college courses
How do I apply?
Submit the completed application, 300-500 word essay, two letters of recommendation and an unofficial copy of your transcript of grades.
How are applicants evaluated?
Applicants will be evaluated as follows:
- 25% on students activities
- 25% on academics
- 25% on original essay
- 25% on letters of recommendation
Applications must be received in full by May 1, 2019.
All applicants will be notified by May 15, 2019.
