SWELL is curating a work created by Choi+Shine Architects that will premiere during Festival 2018, part of the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games, and are seeking crocheters for a temporary art installation.
Experienced and skilled crocheters are invited to submit an expression of interest to assist making sections of a distinctive work of art that will allow viewers to enter a diaphanous form, where they can enjoy the detail and texture of the crocheted patterns and experience the city, water and the sky through this unequalled visual filter.
This is a wonderful opportunity to contribute to the creative process through a culmination of skill to be a part of a memorable time and create a place for athletes, visitors and residents to reflect and enjoy.
