Community Foundation of Acadiana (CFA) is accepting nominations for the Leaders In Philanthropy Awards.
Our goal is to honor outstanding philanthropists who have made a significant impact and contributions to enhance the quality of life in our eight parish service area to include Acadia Parish, Evangeline Parish, Iberia Parish, Lafayette Parish, St. Landry Parish, St. Martin Parish, St. Mary Parish and Vermilion Parish.
You may submit a nomination for an individual, couple or a corporation/business who works to help others.
**Current CFA Directors and CFA staff (and their immediate family members) are not eligible to be considered for this award while currently volunteering for or working at CFA.
CFA’s Board of Directors reserves final determination regarding eligibility and relationships.
Nominations are presented to CFA's Board of Directors Emeriti who select the Leaders In Philanthropy Award honorees.
In order to maintain an honorable and credible process, we must receive complete and substantial nominations for each parish.
Please know that all nominees are considered and a nomination does not imply, suggest or guarantee that the nominee will be selected. Nominations will remain on file for a period of 3 years. If the nomination is not selected within 3 years, the nominator has the option to resubmit another nomination or the nomination will be archived.
Also, please be aware that nominees do have the option to decline this recognition; as such, there is the possibility that we may not have an award recipient for each parish.
If you have questions or need assistance, please contact Nicole Hebert at nhebert@cfacadiana.org.
Leaders In Philanthropy Awards are held annually in November.
