Household Employees are considered non-exempt hourly rate employees and are not able to be "salaried" and must be paid for every hour worked. Any hours worked over 40 in a 7 day work week are paid at time and a half (1.5x) of the regular hourly rate. All wages paid for work done are considered taxable income and the Employer is responsible for supplying the Employee a W2 at the end of each year.
