Cherokee County Paranormal Society
Cherokee County Paranormal Society (CCPS) accepts investigations in the Cherokee County, surrounding areas and in different states. All potential members must provide their own transportation and be willing to travel in order to attend investigations and meetings. All applicants must be at least 18 years of age and hold a valid drivers license. Applicants, between the ages of 16 to 18, are required to have a legal guardian or parent willing to join and particiapte with them.
All applicants will be interviewed prior to being considered for training. All new members in training must successfully complete the required training and a probationary (observation) period before becoming a full member. There is no set time for this. The probationary period is based on how well trainees can apply what they have learned during their training, how they interact with the team members, and how they conduct themselves on investigations.
Before you fill out this application, please be aware that we are looking for people who are serious about investigating the paranormal in a scientific, professional, and respectful manner. We are not looking for thrill-seekers. Being a member of CCPS will require time and commitment, therefore you must be willing to follow all CCPS protocols and guidelines. Since we do not charge for paranormal investigations, we charge members a $25.00 application fee and a $10.00 monthly club fee. This fee allows us to purchase equipment or help members/clients if a need arises.
You must answer all questions, and be as detailed as possible with your answers.
We rely on all the questions in this application to determine which applicants will be considered for an interview. Submission of this form does not guarantee membership.
* After acceptance of your application, you will be notified for an interview via phone and/or email.
