    Location:  Hollister, California - Downtown District

    Parade Route:  One mile – Start at Haydon and San Benito Streets. Proceed north on San Benito Street to Fifth Street in downtown Hollister.

    Anticipated Attendance:  10,000

    We are seeking entertaining, creative, and exciting parade entries that bring energy and fun to the crowd! Bands, floats, drill teams, dance groups, comical units, military groups, and equestrians are all welcome. Think outside the box—spectators love entries that are memorable, unique, and entertaining. If you need inspiration, our team is happy to help with ideas.

    Please review the general parade guidelines and submit your interest early for placement consideration. All applicants will be reviewed by parade organizers, and you will receive email notification upon acceptance.

        Please provide a detailed description of your parade entry (150 words or fewer). Include how the entry will look during the parade, noting any decorations, music, costumes or uniforms, entertainment features, and other unique elements. Also provide a brief overview of the organization submitting the application. If your entry is selected, this information may also be used for the announcer’s script.
      • ENTRY REQUIREMENTS AND GUIDELINES

        Please read, print or download entry requirements and general guidelines before submitting.
      • As an authorized representative of this organization/business and its participating members, I/we hereby understand and agree to accept the risk of bodily injury and/or property damage which I/we may incur or cause a third party to incur as a result of my/our participation in the Saddle Horse Parade. With this understanding, I/we further agree to indemnify, defend and save harmless the City of Hollister, Downtown Hollister Association, Upbeat Parade Productions, LLC and the Saddle Horse Show, its Boards, its Commissions, and their respective officers, agents, and employees from and against any and all claims, losses, injuries, suits, and judgments arising from, or in connection with/my successors, assigns, heirs, executors and administrators, and any other persons or entity's who/which may have a claim based on my/our personal injuries and/or property damage.  I/we understand that segments of the media will be present at the parade and I/ we grant an unconditional release for all rights of publications, press, radio, and television present and future, along with all video and photographic rights by virtue of their appearance. I/we further understand and agree that this saves harmless. Indemnification shall apply to all facilities that the City of Hollister, Downtown Hollister Association, Upbeat Parade Productions, LLC and Saddle Horse Show may own and/or control. Furthermore, I/we have read and agree to abide by the Saddle Horse Parade guidelines and rules, as shown in the pages provided and those to be presented with the participant's information package if my entry is accepted.
