About us: Lash Out by Véronique has been operating since November 2013. We are located in the basement of a residential home in Orleans (Avalon). Our business is registered with Canada Revenue Agency & the province of Ontario. We specialize in eyelash extensions and also offer the following services: facials, manicure, pedicure, tinting & facial waxing.
A. Before the appointment
If you booked a pedicure with regular nail polish, you must bring a pair of open-toed shoes/sandals. Make sure the edges are flat to avoid smudging the nail polish.
Children: Due to liability reasons and the nature of our services, infants/children under the age of fourteen (14) are not permitted on site. Exception: kids manicure/pedicure with adult supervision at all times. We have a form to be completed by the legal gardian for clients under the age of 18.
Health & Safety: Our spa follows Health Canada guidelines at all times. Please advise us ahead of time should you have nail fungus, warts, ingrown toenail infection, etc. In the event that there is a nail fungus, please bring your own base coat, top coat & nail polish.
Parking: Keep in mind that you could potentially block a client's car, however, you may park in the driveway behind the blue mazda, should a spot be available. When a significant amount of snow has fallen, please park on the street, unless our contractor has cleared the driveway. We are not responsible for any loss/theft/vandalism or parking tickets that are issued during your visit.
B. During the appointment
We have complimentary beverages such as coffee, decaf coffee, hot chocolate, tea and water bottles, as well as snacks available on site.
C. Scheduling
We use Schedulicity as our online booking system. We require a valid credit card to secure any service(s). We will only charge the credit card on file if the appointment(s) is/are missed or cancelled within twenty-four (24). If you do not have a credit card, you may contact us to book with an Interac etransfer or come in person with a payment. We will only book your appointment(s) when your payment is received.
Once you've booked your appointment(s), a confirmation email is sent immediately, as well as a reminder email forty-eight (48) hours prior to your appointment. You may cancel your appointment(s) up to twenty-four (24) hours prior to start time online or by contacting us directly. Should there be an opening for a service, it remains available for booking up to four (4) hours prior to start time.
If you need to modify/add to your appointment, you must notify us prior to your appointment start time. We may not be able to accomodate your request, however, advance notice gives us more flexibility to make something work.
D. Cancellations/No-Show Fee
When booking with us, we reserve the necessary time and setup our spa to accomodate your services. When an appointment is missed or cancelled with less than twenty-four (24) hours notice, a 50% fee from all booked services is charged.
Should a credit card decline, an electronic invoice will be sent to your email address on file and must be paid within twenty-four (24) hours. Failure to provide complete payment will result in your account being transferred to our collections agency: Dixon Commercial Investigators.
E. Arriving late
You must notify us as soon as possible if you will be arriving later than scheduled. Keep in mind that no extra time will be allocated to your appointment and you are still charged for the full amount. If you do not contact us within fifteen (15) minutes of your start time, your appointment is considered a no-show and the 50% fee is charged and processed.
F. Payment
The following methods of payment are accepted and due before leaving our spa: cash, Interac, Visa, MasterCard & American Express. We do not accept cheques or etransfers.
G. Satisfaction
