Vero Essene YAHAD Sukkot 2022 Survey 2-07072022
Please complete the form below if you are interested in attending Sukkot in Southwest Alabama October 5th - 13th, 2022. Find also photos, maps and explanations. For more information about the group, try http://joinyahad.org.
Sukkot dates are from the Zadokite Calendar: October 4 (Move in) - 13 (Move out), 2022. Campus: Camp Delta RV Park and Cabins, Stockton AL on Tensaw Lake, not far from many great beaches and attractions. (Perdido Key pictured above.) Please read the next paragraph in full for updated information.
IT'S ALMOST BIBLICAL VACATION TIME! And that's what Sukkot is all about! A few thoughts: Wednesday, October 5 is the first day of Sukkot; Saturday, October 8 is the first (and only) regular Sabbath in the week; and Wednesday, October 12 is "The Great Day." On these "High Days," we get together for an hour and a half for special liturgical services. On the "Great Day," our custom is to perform the "Remember Your Baptism and Be Thankful," which is the "water libation" act of worship modified to include baptisms, promotions, ordinations and communions. Being close to Mobile, Alabama and Pensacola, Florida allows us to choose many interesting and fun field trips. I (Jackson) lived in that area for 5 years (in both Pensacola and Mobile) and I can tell you that my family and I never lacked for opportunities to take mini-vacations; for instance, there is the famous Perdido Key Beaches, Orange Beach (https://www.gulfshores.com/), Scenic Fairhope (https://alabama.travel/places-to-go/cities-and-towns/fairhope), Naval Air Station Museum (which we will surely visit), Flora-Bama (http://www.florabama.com/) - the famous tiki and grill (on the border of Florida and Alabama) and a plethora of great seafood restaurants. If you want to fish, no problem. I'll be right there with you. Look at the photos below to see what's biting. Regarding speakers: Since the Yahad is a teaching and ordaining ministry, we have several great speakers among us; we seldom have to hire from outside. If you have been to one of our Shabbat services, you know this is true. To sample some of our services and speakers, surf to our Youtube site, http://youtube1.org. Regarding food: Delta has kitchens so we can fix healthy meals for all, and we can take care of the cost with offerings. Vegetarian? Vegan? No problem. Just mark it in the survey below. Sometimes a family will prepare dinner for all on their night, sometimes we cater, sometimes we pitch in - but the schedule has not yet been completed - we're working on that now. Fill out the survey and we'll send you the schedule as soon as possible. Or for any questions, contact us through our form at www.Yahad.me or phone (772) 532-0762. Continue on.

VERO ESSENE YAHAD MOED WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND RELEASE AGREEMENT FOR CAMPING
I wish to participate in the Feast of Tabernacles (the Moed) offered by Vero Essene Yahad, a non-prophet voluntary association. As a precondition to participating in the Activity, I have read the following Release Agreement (the “Agreement”) and agree to its terms. Assumption of Risk. I understand that participating in the Activity entails inherent risks of physical injury, including, but not limited to, the risks described at the end of this document. I have been given the chance to ask questions concerning the Activity Detail Form, and all such questions have been answered to my satisfaction. Having read this form, I am fully aware of the risks and hazards associated with the Activity, and hereby elect to voluntarily participate in the Activity. I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks of loss, property damage or personal injury, including death, that may be sustained by me as a result of participating in the Moed, unless caused by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of the Yahad, its officers, trustees, agents, employees or volunteers (collectively referred to as “the Yahad”). Liability Release. In consideration for the Yahad allowing me to participate in the Activity, I agree I will not sue the Yahad and I release the Yahad from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, actions, causes of actions, costs and expenses of any nature whatsoever arising out of any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me or to any property belonging to me, arising from the Activity or while upon the premises where the Activity is being conducted, excepting those claims arising from the gross negligence or willful misconduct of the Yahad. Indemnification. Warranty of Physical Fitness. I warrant that I am physically fit and in a condition that will allow me to participate fully in the Moed. I maintain medical insurance that covers me for accidents and illnesses while I am participating in this Activity. I understand the University has not made, nor will make, any investigation into my physical fitness or ability to participate in the Moed, and the Yahad is relying on my warranty of my physical condition. I assume full responsibility for payment of medical expenses not covered by my insurance incurred as a result of my participation in the Moed. Emergency Medical Treatment. I grant the Yahad permission to authorize emergency medical treatment as it deems appropriate, and agree that such action by the Yahad shall be subject to the terms of this Agreement. I understand and agree that the Yahad assumes no responsibility for any injury or damage that might arise out of or in connection with such authorized emergency medical treatment. Intent: It is my express intent that this Agreement shall bind the members of my family and spouse (if any), my estate, heirs, administrators, assigns, and personal representatives. I agree that this Agreement and any claim arising from my participation in the Activity shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of laws provision.
