Welcome to the Integrated Planning Council's submission portal. Before submitting proposals through this form, please review the proposal process, as well as the graphic overview provided. Once you have done so, complete and submit the form, being certain to upload your concept paper or narrative proposal. As this process is new, you should anticipate follow-up questions as the Integrated Planning Council develops procedures for reviewing proposals.
You should also note the following. First, your proposal must clearly align with CCSU's interim strategic objectives: increase student enrollment, maintain academic excellence, expand community engagement, and develop additional sources of funding. Second, the proposal should delineate the anticipated costs associated with the proposal in terms of personnel (including fringe benefits), facilities, technology, and operating expenses. Third, you should provide a realistic timetable for the proposal's implementation, and suggest metrics for measuring its success over time. Finally, please remember that any proposed changes to the base budget of a department or division must also be reflected in your regular budget submissions.
Please also bear in mind the following as you prepare to submit a proposal. The University Planning and Budget Committee (UPBC) and Information Technology Committee (ITC) meet only during the fall and spring semesters. Furthermore, the IPC traditionally meets on the first Friday of the month. If your proposal requires action by a certain date, please use the box below for additional information to explain further. Finally, if you are submitting a concept or new program proposal for the BOR, please ask that the Provost's Office submit it on your behalf.
Once your submission has been received and initially reviewed, you will be contacted by a member of the IPC. Proposals will be published on the IPC website and will be distributed automatically to those with a responsibility for reviewing them. If you have questions, please contact the UPBC Chair, Lisa Bigelow.
