We are seeking a full-time Grace Kids Intern who will be responsible for learning to lead our growing ministry for children (approximately 600 +) from birth through 5th grade. We are seeking a leader that is relational, encouraging and highly organized to provide leadership and vision of Grace Kids.

Position Classification: Internship
Time Commitment: Full-time, exempt
Campus Schedule: Tuesday-Friday and Weekend Services; Overland Park Campus
Responsibilities/Duties
- Assist Grace Kids in all events, lesson plans, volunteer recruiting, and kids ministry worship and teaching
- Model a positive attitude and servant leadership when developing volunteers
- Assist with administrative tasks such as copying curriculum, preparing service bins, special event projects and any other areas assigned by the Grace Kids Director
- Must demonstrate personable skills in order to reach both children and their families with the Gospel of Jesus Christ
- Help implement strategies and methods that grow the ministry and those involved and manage resources effectively
- Work alongside the Grace Kids team ensuring the success of SBO and SBO Jr.
- Stay current with Kids Culture
- Maintain strong interpersonal skills bent toward cooperative, and collaborative team leadership
- Work alongside the Grace Kids Director with the implementation and development of grace groups for kids
- Willingness to assist in any areas needed in Grace Kids
Skills/Experience
- Children’s Ministry experience at a large church, multi-site preferred
- Has effectively lead children; direct or indirect
- Great relational skills: full of faith, friendly, calm, and professional
- Outstanding communication, organizational and teambuilding skills
