Nominees are nominated by their Manager/Supervisor through IOTIS.

You must have completed DHS Skills for Successful Supervision.

Nominees are added to the Waitlist in IOTIS and are only registred once the seleciton process is complete. The detailed process is located on the LEAD page in IOTIS: DHS LEAD Academy

We are very excited to strengthen your leadership skills to help build stronger families for a stronger Georgia!

The Leadership, Education, and Development (LEAD) Academy provides Supervisors/Managers the skills and knowledge to become an emerging leader within DHS. It is designed to address the need for enhanced leadership, management, and supervisory skills that align with the Department’s core value to develop our employees and build organizational capacity.

The program offers a rewarding and challenging experience. It requires full commitment from you to attend all sessions. If you are unable to commit 100%, please remove yourself from this program nomination. You may be nominated for future programs when your schedule permits.

If you do not complete this form by the deadline, you will not be in consideration to participate in the program.
You are required to attend all training sessions both classroom and webinars. We appreciate you and all you do for the agency, but missing any session or part of a session is a means for dismissal from the program.
You will be notified if you are in the program, listed as an alternate, or will need to be re-nominated.
You must be a DHS employee to attend, not a contractor.
You must have successfully passed and completed DHS Skills for Successful Supervision.

Deadlines

Complete nominee registration form by 5:00 pm Monday, June 16, 2025.
Should you not be able to commit 100% for this program, identify in the form you are not able to commit. The next program begins in July 2026.
All nominees who do not fill out this form, will be considered not interested in the program and removed from the nomination list in the LMS.
You will be notified by July 1 or sooner of final acceptance into this program.
