If this student is a STEM major, we encourage you to also nominate him or her for the Ruby Distinguished Doctoral Fellowship (if he or she meets the eligibility requirements). Any deparment or individual faculty member may submit nominations for the Ruby Distinguished Doctoral Fellowship; there is no nomination limit for this fellowship. Note that programs and faculty members are encouraged to only nominate their most qualified applicants for this fellowship.
To nominate a STEM major for the Ruby Distinguished Doctoral Fellowship, a separate form must be completed (make changes to the letter of support and any other documents as needed to reflect the fact that this new nomination if for the Ruby Fellowship). Upon submission of the current fellowship nomination, you will receive a confirmation email with more information on how to submit a separate nomination for the Ruby Fellowships on behalf of qualified STEM majors.
