Story District is looking for five storytellers to perform a true story as part of Uncommon Sense: True Stories about taste, touch, sight, sound, smell on Feb 22 and 24 at the Atlas INTERSECTIONS festival. We are looking for a diverse cast who can speak to one of the senses in unexpected or unconventional ways. The process involves pitching your story idea, then committing to several rehearsals with a Story District coach/director. We will select one story for each sense.
HOW TO MAKE A GOOD STORY PITCH
Your story must be true, must be told in the first-person, and must incorporate the show's theme. Be sure that your story is a story with a plot and a protagonist that we follow as events unfold. Help us "see" the story and understand what is at stake -- what matters and what's it's ultimately about.
