This year, Claudia's Cabaret Intourlude will join the Cabaret Connexion Tour de France.
Proposed dates begin with arrival in Paris on September 4 and departure on September 14 (possibly shifting by as much as a week later).
For performers the itinerary will focus on workshops and performances... and yes, time to see the sites and relax. We envisage a total of ten 2-1/2 to 3-hour workshops/master classes covering "the pianist-singer partnership" with Jean-Claude Orfali, "staging your song" with Christian Pagès, "Share and compare opera and cabaret" with Christine Steyer, "English diction for singers" with Jacques Protat & Greta Pope, patter with Claudia Hommel, etc.
For our fans, you'll have the option to audit the workshops, come to the performances that interest you most, and see more sites!
The CPCx tour begins with a train from Paris to Sète.
With lodging in Sète or Montpellier on the Mediterranean Sea, we'll spend two evenings at the Chansons et Toiles Festival in Sète and two days with the National Opera Orchestra of Montpellier.
Taking the train back to Paris, we'll have four full days to explore the city, continue working together in 3-hour master classes, and participate in concerts, open mics, encounters in the evening.
You have the option to come ahead of the CPCx tour to spend a day in Giverny and two days in Dordogne before meeting the group in Sète.
You may want to stay on for a side-trip to London!
