The CIDBIA provides oversight of three large festival events throughout the year – Lunar New Year, Dragon Fest, and Night Market. These events are used to market the neighborhood, draw large crowds to the district, and to encourage patrons to discover the unique offerings of the Chinatown-International District.
As a vendor, it is a privilege to be selected to participate in these events. CIDBIA staff and event contractors have final say in who may or may not vend within the event footprints, as well as the booth location and cost of vending. This code of conduct is supplied as a guideline to vendors.
I understand that CIDBIA Events have a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for the following items/actions:
o No drugs, alcohol, smoking, or use of profanity will be tolerated within the event footprint;
o No yelling at, threatening, touching, or physically attacking an event staff person, volunteer, or patron during any contact before, during, or after the event;
o No vending within event boundaries without express consent and contract from CIDBIA and the event management company;
o No mistreatment or damage of property or facilities;
I understand as the contracted vendor, that I am responsible for the behavior of all those working within my booth.
I understand that I should provide guidance to this Code of Conduct to all within my booth.
I will abide by ALL RULES in the Vendor Rules and Regulations in the Exhibitor Packet.
I understand that if I fail to follow the items listed above that I could be immediately ejected from the event without refund. CIDBIA staff and event contractors have the right to refuse any vendor without explanation or reason.
I understand that if I am ejected that I must leave the event footprint immediately. I understand that depending on the cause for ejection that I may be suspended for a minimum of one event and up to permanent suspension from all future events.
I understand that until I sign the Code of Conduct, I am unable to be a vendor in CIDBIA events.
