Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Gulf Coast Science Festival! Please complete this application form so we can find the right spot for you.
Please indicate which shift you want. The early shifts will entail helping set up and then assisting guiding visitors. The late shifts will be for guiding visitors and then helping take everything down. Feel free to choose shifts for the whole duration. (The overlap is so that we have time to orient the aftenoon volunteers before the morning ones leave.)
Skills, Interests and Experience
Please let us know your personal, academic and professional experiences and skills that might be useful for the Festival.
All adults who volunteer at the Pensacola MESS Hall must complete this affidavit. Additionally, each volunteer will be screened through the sexual predator/offender database.
Have you ever been found guilty, or entered a plea of nolo contendere (no contest) to any crime other than a minor traffic violation? (DUI is not considered a minor traffic violation and must be listed.) An answer is required regardless of whether adjudication was withheld or the charges were dismissed by the court, and regardless of whether or not those records have been sealed or expunged. If you select the YES box, you must give complete information for each charge below:
For each arrest, please indicate: City where arrested, State, Date arrested, Charges, and Disposition.
By submitting this form, I am consenting to having my name searched on the sexual predator/offender database. My answers to these questions and the database search may disqualify me from volunteering. I affirm that the answers submitted here are true.
