FTA has fundamentally changed its awards program.
Now you can submit your best ideas, programs and activities throughout the year. Once submitted, your nomination will be considered for an award every year.
There is no limit on how many programs you nominate, and you are not limited to any certain category in a particular year.
You are encouraged to update your submission whenever your program is expanded, changed or new data is available.
Awards submitted by the end of March 2019 will be eligible for a 2019 award.
Our hope is to make the process of submitting an Awards nomination so simple that you will make it a habit to fill out a form whenever you have something exciting producing results in your agency.
As you are completing the submission, if you don't see a space to share information you believe is pertinent, send an email to Verenda.Smith@taxadmin.org and we will edit the submission form. Please also let us know if you find any part of the submission process difficult or confusing.
FTA Awards will be judged by a committee of retired FTA Board presidents.
The Harley T. Duncan Award for Leadership will not change; you will not need to complete this submission form for those nominations.
Awards are open to all FTA members, which are the tax agencies in the 50 states, D.C., Philadelphia and New York City.
