You will receive an email acknowledging your nomination, and that email will contain a link that will allow you to edit this information anytime before the submission deadline. Please do NOT refer to the student by name except in the identifying information at the top of the form. These forms will be reviewed and judged by readers who should NOT know who the students are.

    Students may be nominated by teachers, counselors, friends, clergy, or family, not including their parent, guardians or themselves.

    Please note: Nominees MUST be Seniors in a High School located within the Las Cruces Public School District 2025-2026 school year. Private schools are encouraged to participate.

    A student may be nominated by a school official (counselor, teacher, administrator, etc.,) a friend, or adults who know the student through other organizations (scouts, church, civic organizations, etc.)

  • Selection Criteria

    • Please present narrative in the 3rd person.  It must not be written by the student. 
    • Please do NOT include the student's name or identifying information. These nominations need to be reviewed anonymously.
    • Please answer ALL questions. If a question is not answered, the student will most likely NOT be selected.
