I/we understand that I/we are making a financial investment in my/our child’s education and I/we commit to upholding my/our financial obligation to Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School.
All In Acknowledgement
Sts. Peter and Paul School has an All In program. Parents are expected to volunteer 20 hours and participate in the school’s four fundraising efforts, King Soopers/Safeway, Amazon Smile, 5K and our Gala/Auction. Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School expects parents to volunteer a minimum of 20 hours per family in service to our community.
Fundraising and volunteering are necessary parts of non-profits and organizations that do not receive subsidies from the government. In order to financially maintain our school and to offer affordable tuition, Saints Peter and Paul has an “ALL IN” fundraiser/volunteer program. We are counting on your commitment to make our fundraising and volunteer efforts a success!
Volunteer
20 hours of service throughout the school year: Each family volunteers throughout the year at Saints Peter and Paul parish and/or school. All volunteers must be 18 years of age and over and must meet all archdiocesan qualifications for safe environment.
Fundraising Efforts
- Purchase and Use Reloadable Grocery Cards: Purchase a $5.00 reloadable King Soopers and/or Safeway card in the school office. Reload your card prior to purchase and use card to purchase items. Five percent of what was spent is given to the school.
- Use Amazon Smile: When you purchase through Amazon, log in through Amazon Smile. Once in your account, you will be directed back to the regular Amazon website. The school receives a financial donation from Amazon Smile for these purchases.
- Strive for a team of ten (10) registered participants in our Cool Duo 5k event: The Cool Duo 5k is scheduled for the first Saturday in October. In order to have a successful event, we ask that each family try to form a team of ten (10) registered participants. Register those members of your immediate family who would like to run or walk in the 5k. Encourage your extended family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors to register online and to join your team.
- Attend auction, donate items for the silent, and/or provide a monetary donation worth $50: The event is scheduled in late February/March each school year. Purchase a ticket for the auction, donate items to be auctioned, and or send in a $50 donation toward the success of the event.
Tuition Payments
All tuition payments are due and payable by the 5th or 20th of each month through the Facts system beginning in August 2018. All tuition is to be paid over a ten month period from August to May. Regular tuition payments must be made on a monthly basis according to your signed FACTS agreement, regardless of what scholarships your student receives or if you work UES to earn tuition. Monthly payment amounts can be readjusted through the School Business Office if warranted.
If you fall 2 months or more behind in your tuition payments you will be in danger of losing all scholarship/financial aid and you may be asked to withdraw your student/s from Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School.
In order to register for the 2018-2019 school year, you must be current with your entire financial obligation for the current 2017-2018 school year at any Archdiocese of Denver Catholic School. Students will not be permitted to register at any other Catholic School in the Archdiocese of Denver until all financial obligations to Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School have been paid.
The first time your account is NSF (Non-Sufficient Funds) a $30.00 fee will be accessed by FACTS within a few days of the NSF. At the next billing cycle (the 5th or 20th), the missed fees and the current tuition payment will be accessed. In the event of a second consecutive NSF payment, a $25.00 fee will be accessed to your account by Sts. Peter and Paul School.
Parents must realize that Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School must hire teachers, purchase textbooks, materials and make other financial commitments based on Enrollment and Tuition Agreements and Contracts. Parents agree to pay the school an annual nonrefundable registration and technology fee and tuition in the amount stated on this contract. Please view the tuition schedule for monthly payments.
If a family with a child in the 8th grade has a delinquent tuition account, the tuition account must be paid-in-full by the first week of May, such student(s) will be denied participation in the cotillion and graduation activities.
The obligation of each parent signing this agreement is binding and enforceable. The Parent agrees that the entire year’s tuition shall be paid regardless of whether the student attends the school for the entire year or not. The School, in its sole discretion, may agree to release the Parent of this obligation under the following circumstances:
A) If there is a substantial change in the income of the Parent, impairing the ability of the Parent to pay tuition;
B) If the Parent is required to relocate its primary residence to a place outside a reasonable commuting distance from the School;
C) If the School and parents mutually determine that it is unable to meet the educational/behavioral/social-emotional needs of the student;
D) If the Student is unable to complete the academic year because of serious illness.
E) If the School in its sole discretion releases Parents of their obligation according to the listed circumstances, the month in which the student last attends will be paid in full.
Parents agree that the Student and Parent will adhere to the rules, policies and requirements of the School, as adopted from time to time, including the rules, policies and requirements set forth in the School Handbook. School may terminate this Agreement for failure of Parent and Student to abide by the rules, policies and requirements of the School.
The Finance Council reserves the right to send a delinquent account to a collection agency for payment at the parent’s expense. A family sent to a collection agency may not enroll or return to Sts. Peter and Paul School.
Transcripts, report cards and/or other student records may not be withheld for non-payment of tuition and/or other school fees
I understand and agree to the terms of this tuition agreement and have agreed to these by initialling the Enrollment Contract below.
TUITION CONTRACT TERMS
The following conditions need to be met by all applicants in order to claim parishioner status in the Archdiocese of Denver and thus receive the affiliated Catholic tuition rates:
Active Parishioner in the Archdiocese of Denver: The family has been registered in a parish within the Archdiocese of Denver for at least six months. A verification of this registration must be provided to Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School before this condition is fulfilled.
Active Saints Peter and Paul Parishioner:
1. The family has been registered at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church for at least six months.
2. ATTEND SUNDAY MASS regularly at STS PETER & PAUL PARISH. As Catholics it is our obligation to attend Mass every Sunday and Holy Days of Obligation. Parents are encouraged to give this witness of their Catholic faith to their school children. Sunday Mass attendance is the main criteria for status as a Sts Peter & Paul Parishioner.
3. CONTRIBUTE to the Offertory of STS PETER & PAUL PARISH on a REGULAR basis. One facet of Stewardship is returning our treasure to God. Many Catholics tithe 10% to their parish. All are encouraged to make a sacrificial gift. School families MUST use Parish OFFERTORY ENVELOPES on a weekly basis because this is the most efficient way to provide routinely, updated documentation. However, a more important reason is to combine SCHOOL families with the PARISH families and to celebrate Mass as a whole community.
4. PARTICIPATE in the Stewardship Ministries of STS PETER & PAUL PARISH in some way. Another facet of Stewardship is returning to God the gift of our time and talent. Our parish offers many opportunities for service and activities for the individual and the family.
Sts. Peter and Paul parishioners submit your affiliation form with your registration packet.
Active Out-of-Parish Parishioner
Proof of out-of-parishioner affiliation must be completed by your parish office, signed by parish priest and returned to the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School office by March 2, 2018 (unless registering after this date) to receive the affiliated tuition rate for 2018-2019.
