1.            You must be at least 18 years old (on the date of your application) to appear on our new couples reality programme (the “Programme”).

2.            You must not be in breach of any contract by appearing (or by applying to appear) in the Programme.

3.            You are not eligible to apply to appear in the Programme if you are an employee or a close relation of an employee of Viacom International Media Networks UK Limited (“Viacom”) or Lime Pictures Limited (the “Company”/ “we”/ “us”).

4.            You must be legally authorised to live, work and participate in the Programme in the United Kingdom.

5.            By submitting any videos, photographs, songs, pictures, text messages and/or any other material with your application (or if you proceed to the next stage in the casting process, by participating in a video interview via Skype, FaceTime or other similar means) (together the “Material”) you hereby grant the Company and Viacom the right to feature the Material in the Programme and/ or within marketing materials for the Programme and make such use thereof as we require within the Programme and/ or the marketing materials and to exploit and exhibit the same in all media now known or hereafter devised worldwide in perpetuity as we may require without restrictions or payment whatsoever. You agree to waive any moral rights that may exist in relation to the Material.

6.            You warrant and represent that the rights granted to us above reside solely with you and that no further consents are necessary.

7.            The application window for the Programme will open and close at the sole discretion of the Company.

8.            The Company is not liable to refund any costs or expenses incurred by you in making an application to participate in the Programme, including but not limited to the cost of internet access, phone call charges, travel costs, accommodation, incidental costs or any other charges, expenses and taxes.

9.            You understand that, even if you are selected as a contributor, the Company has no obligation to produce the Programme and if the Programme is made there will be no obligation on the Company or any broadcaster to broadcast it.

10.          All decisions by the Company concerning selection of the contributors are final and you agree not to challenge or appeal against those decisions.

11.          If selected to appear in the Programme, your appearance is conditional upon satisfactory completion of the Company’s background checks including but not limited to (i) providing the Company with an original and valid passport and proof of address; (ii) completing a self-declaration form to disclose any past and impending criminal investigations, cautions, charges and/or convictions; (iii) completion of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check in your name and (iv) a psychological assessment. Your engagement will also be conditional on you signing the Company’s standard terms of engagement for contributors and on the Company receiving satisfactory reports following a psychological assessment.

12.          If any of the information given to the Company during the application process is found to be false (or the Company reasonably believes that you have knowingly supplied inaccurate, misleading or false information) the Company will be entitled in its sole discretion to exclude you from the selection process and/or you may be immediately disqualified from taking part in the Programme.

13.          If you are selected to appear in the Programme, you acknowledge and agree to abide by the rules, regulations, terms and conditions for this competition as determined by the Company and you acknowledge that the rules may be changed (including without limitation verbally) at any time by the Company in their sole discretion. The Company’s decisions regarding all elements of the application process, the competition and the Programme shall be final and binding.

If you do not consent to or cannot comply with any of the above criteria, please do not continue with your application. By continuing with your application and clicking the tick, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

Personal information which you supply to the Company during the application, audition and casting process (and, if selected to appear in the Programme, during the production process) (which may include but is not limited to information about your health, relationship history, political views and any previous criminal convictions cautions or charges) (“Personal Data”) will be used in a number of ways, for example:

·         in selecting potential contributors for the Programme; and

·         to enable Lime to develop and produce the Programme.

The Company will not publish your address or contact details nor will we share your Personal Data with any third parties without your prior consent (other than as set out in below).

Your Personal Data will be shared with necessary members of the Company (including the Programme casting and production team) and relevant staff at the broadcaster of the Programme and, in terms of health and criminal records information, may be shared with the broadcaster and our and the broadcaster’s insurers. The Personal Data that you provide on this form will also be processed and stored by JotForm (the “Hosting Platform”). The Company will ensure that any information that you provide to us for the purpose of producing the Programme will be used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 (as amended) and the General Data Protection Regulation, as applicable (the “Legislation”).

All Personal Data will be kept secure and treated as confidential in accordance with the All3Media Data Protection Policy and the Act. In submitting this application form and for the purposes of the Legislation, you agree and give your consent to the holding and processing by the Company (including its licensees and assignees) of your Personal Data, which may include sensitive personal data, relating to you in any form whether obtained or held in writing, electronically or otherwise.

If you do not consent to the Company processing your data, then we will be unable to continue with your application.

Future use of your data

With your consent, the Company would like to retain this application form for future related use when, for example, producing similar programmes.

If at any time you would like to withdraw your consent to this, please let us know by return e-mail to dataprotection@limepictures.com. Your refusal to grant us such permission to this use of your data will in no way influence the Company’s decision as to whether or not we use your application form, your information or you in the Programme. Your Personal Data will not be used for any other direct commercial purposes including direct marketing.

If you do not consent to future use of your information and you are not selected to participate in the Programme, your application form will be securely destroyed once production of the programme concludes. For all other contributors, we will retain your Personal Data for a reasonable period of time for so long as the Company may reasonably require it (in accordance with the Act) and your Personal Data will be securely destroyed thereafter.

You have the right to obtain a copy of the Personal Data that Lime holds about you as prescribed by the Act. If you would like to obtain a copy, please contact the Data Controller at Lime. You will need to verify your identity and specify what information you require.
