In filling this form, the submitter certifies that the chapter has made an effort to collect the money due from the said individual, and the member has been given written notice at least fifteen (15) days in advance of this action. Therefore, this chapter in compliance with International Bylaw 4, Section 2 (see below), suspends the said brother from the privileges of membership. The individual listed above is deemed indebted to the fraternity and is no longer in good standing with the said chapter.
Section 2. Financial Suspension:
Discipline for non-payment of dues or other charges established by the chapter lies within the province of the Chapter. Financial health is important to the chapter’s continued existence. Each Chapter should establish procedures for discipline of members indebted to his Chapter. Discipline for non-payment of dues or other charges owed to the Fraternity lies within the province of the Fraternity. Procedures for such discipline may from time to time be established by the Fraternity. The Fraternity will provide notice of any such disciplinary procedures before they are implemented by posting the notice and a copy of the disciplinary procedure on its website.
