We are currently accepting vendor applications until April 1st, 2018.
WHAT: Etsy Made in Canada OTTAWA
WHEN: Friday June 8th (NIGHT MARKET 6pm to 9pm) Saturday June 9th AND Sunday June 10th 2018 10am to 4pm (same vendors each day).
WHERE: Bell Sensplex (1565 Maplegrove Rd, Kanata).
COST: $175 +HST ($197.75) for the weekend. We also ask that all vendors consider providing an item for our raffle. (100 tote bags will be given each day to the first shoppers in line, each with a ticket to win.). Vendors are required bring along your own table linens + chair if you so wish. Your table is provided.
One standard sized 6' table.
Digital vendor promotional kit.
Promotion of your name and work (when appropriate) on our website and through our advertising channels.
Please note: If you require a clothing rack it must be in lieu of your table, space is at a premium and you are entitled to the footprint provided by a 6' table. Please keep that in mind when envisioning your set up.
CONDITIONS OF APPLICATION
The goal of Cheerfully Made Markets is to bring the a well curated group of approximately 150 handmakers and vintage resellers together under one roof. To be a part of the Cheerfully Made Etsy Made in Canada Fair you must be a handmade vendor or a vintage seller that is:
• A member of the Cheerfully Made Etsy Team
• An Etsy seller that is in compliance with Etsy policies
Though you do not need to be an Ottawa area resident to participate in our show, you may wish to consider an Etsy Made in Canada Show closer to home.
If you participate in this event you ARE STILL ELIGIBLE to apply for our Etsy FALL event.
The jury will carefully select the participants in order to have the best possible curated show. Our criteria for making vendor selctions includes:
The work is unique, creative and innovative – but above all handmade (or vintage).
The work is made by you, the person who will be at the Fair.
The work is well crafted. The quality of the goods to be sold at the Fair must be of the best quality. We encourage you to take well lit photos of the work you submit. This will help the jury judge your work, we cannot stress the importance of photos!
We’re looking for variety in the type of work accepted. The jurors will select a diverse group of vendors in order to offer the best shopping experience. Some categories are more saturated than others but we encourage everyone to apply!

April 13 - Notification of acceptance status
April 27 - Payment + Contract Deadline
June 8 - Afternoon Set Up (2-5:45pm) + Night Market (6pm to 9pm)
June 9 - Raffle item due upon arrival. First day of the show!
June 10 - Day TWO
June 11 - Sleep all day!
