PMAY Artists may use this application to request funds for Conferences, Competitions, Summer Music Programs and other requests for funds. Funding is limited, and will be awarded on a rolling basis until funds are exhausted. Priority will go towards summer music programs. Please read the guidelines and requirements before completing your application.
Requirements:
- Funding is intended for PMAY Artists in good standing.
- Only complete applications, with all the required signatures and attachments, will be considered.
- Awards are made on a rolling basis while funds are available. Applications will be considered in the order in which they are received.
- Deadline for request is 3 weeks before program billing deadline or other needs. If the deadline is less than 3 weeks, please communicate with the program that funds may be late.
Guidelines:
- PMAY Artists must first apply for and be accepted into the program for which they are applying for PMAY funding. Please do not submit a request for a program that you have not yet been accepted. Documentation of your acceptance should be included with this application.
- PMAY Artists are expected to apply for financial aid directly from the program they intend to attend. PMAY will only consider funding applicants who have completed the Financial Aid process through the summer program first. If the program does not offer financial aid, the Artist should apply for a grant from a third party organiztion. Documentation of any financial aid award should be included with this application.
- The selected program must be an approved part of each PMAY Artist’s Personalized Learning Plan, as discussed with a private teacher and Student Advocate. This application must be signed by the Student Advocate.
- Tuition awards will be paid directly to the program. Travel awards, if awarded, will either be paid directly to the vendor or will require paid receipts before reimbursement.
- Other requests will also be considered on a case by case basis.
