The Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) program within the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is a DOT-mandated process designed to help commercial drivers who have violated DOT drug and alcohol regulations. It focuses on evaluating the driver, recommending appropriate education or treatment, and facilitating a safe return to safety-sensitive duties.*

  • Please make your drivers aware that The Financial Integrity Group will be reaching out to them to set up their clearinghouse account if they do not already have one. Drivers will not be clear to report for duty until a pre-employment screening shows "NEGATIVE" and the clearinghouse reads "DRIVER NOT PROHIBITED".
