Availability

The following shifts have dedicated crews of volunteers that care for our dogs after they arrive from the South every Saturday and before going to their forever homes on Monday. Currently, we are looking for volunteers to act as backups when needed for these dedicated crews. (Backups are first in line when an opening occurs on a volunteer crew.)

Additional volunteer shifts are scheduled 7 days a week during the following times to care for our available dogs staying at our facilities while waiting to find their forever homes. Volunteers sign up for these shifts weekly. These times are approximate. You wouldn’t necessarily need as much time as listed. The amount of time per shift would depend on whether how many dogs there are to care for.
