Client Sign-Off for Printing

1. Hey! Everyone makes mistakes! Our goal is for our customers to be happy and one way we strive to meet this goal is to prevent any mistakes from happening in the first place. In order to do your part, please review the following list regarding the design proof we have provided to you before we go to print:

ALL text information, content and spelling is correct (names, addresses, info/copy, etc.)
ALL numbers are correct (phone/fax/cell numbers, street/avenues, postal codes, pricing, dates, etc.)
The placement of all text and graphics in the layout is correct
The colour* of all text and graphics is correct

2. In addition, please review the following list of responsibilities and expectations:

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that there are NO errors on the proof
What appears on the proof IS what will be printed
A signed printing check-list (below) must be sent back to Ali Cat before printing will be started**
Any delays in the customer signing-off this document and delivering the signed-off document** to Ali Cat will delay delivery of the final printed product

* Regarding colour matches: every computer monitor or hand-held device will display colour differently AND every printer will produce colour differently depending on the calibration of individual monitors, devices and printers. The colours in your final printed product will be close to the image that Ali Cat creates and provides you as a proof for review, either in person as a hard-copy or electronically as attachment to email. Ali Cat NEVER guarantees colour matches.

** Ali Cat requires a signed and dated copy of the “Client Sign-Off” page (submission of this form) listing all the proofs you are approving for printing and details of the print job.

For Business Card Orders:

The default stock used is heavy 14pt cover - premium is thicker Optional UV gloss coating is included at no charge. The coating looks great on all cards, especially designs that include graphics or photographs. It also makes the cards slightly thicker and more sturdy. You have the choice to opt for matte (dull, non-slippery surface) which is often desirable for cards that are to be written on (e.g. 2-sided business/appointment cards.), glossy or uncoated cardstock.
