Geo Hackweek 2018 | Workshop On Geospatial Data Science

Geo Hackweek 2018 (https://geohackweek.github.io) will happen September 10 - September 14, 2018 at the University of Washington, Seattle. Based on past experience, we're expecting to have more applications than spots. We would like to ask you to fill out the form below in order to be considered to attend Geo Hackweek *before April 30, 2018*.

A limited number of fee waivers and travel grants will be available. We encourage students with financial need and students from groups that are underrepresented in geospatial sciences and data science to apply for these grants.

To be considered for these grants, you will need to check the box below, AND ALSO ask your supervisor (research advisor, or similar) to send an email to geohack@uw.edu, providing a letter of support detailing the need for financial support (e.g., that no local resources exist to support the applicant's participation). These letters will need to be provided within one week after notification of acceptance.
