The Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) formed the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) Input Workgroup to gather insight into the impact of CACFP policies, procedures, and projects. Membership is open to CACFP contracting entity (CE) leaders who are prepared to represent the perspectives of their CACFP colleagues throughout Texas.
TDA’s goal is to ensure that this group represents a broad and diverse selection of CACFP organizations.
Membership selection will be based on criteria such as
- Organization type
- Sponsorship size
- Location
- Sponsor type
Persons interested in serving on the Input Workgroup must submit this application by
5 p.m. Monday, April 23, 2018.
Member requirements will include
- Participation in a minimum of 75% of the scheduled meetings
- Attendance at the annual CACFP Conference in Austin
The majority of meetings will be held via conference call every other month and members must travel to Austin for the first meeting in June at the 2018 CACFP Conference.
Membership will be effective June 2018 through July 2019.
