A TBC student intending to take coursework at another institution and receive academic credit may do so under the following Financial Aid Office conditions:
1. For a student concurrently enrolled at TBC and the transient school in the same academic period
- TBC must remain the student’s “home school”
- The student should not apply for Federal Student Aid through the transient school or include that institution’s school code on the FAFSA
- The student must provide the TBC Financial Aid Office with proof of enrollment at the transient school
- The student must provide the TBC Financial Aid Office with proof that all tuition and fees are paid at the transient school
- Credit hours at the transient school will not be considered for total enrollment in the TBC calculation of Federal Student Aid if the student does not provide the TBC Financial Aid Office with proof of enrollment and proof of tuition and fees paid in full at the transient school
2. For a student enrolled only at the transient school (not taking classes with TBC in the approved transient semester)
- The transient school is the student’s “home school” for the given enrollment period
- The student should apply for Federal Student Aid through the transient school
