Thank you for showing interest in CAIMUN 2018’s Media Team. We are looking for a team of skilled and creative photographers and videographers to document this year’s iteration of CAIMUN, and we look forward to potentially working with some of you.
The responsibilities of the Media Team are straightforward. If you are a photographer, we want you to take as many high-quality photos as possible from every single committee. If you are a videographer, we want you to capture the most interesting footage from our conference to be used in our closing ceremony video.
All accepted team members will be granted a media pass for CAIMUN 2018, allowing access to any committee room while the conference is running as well as other events such as ceremonies and delegate social. The Media Team is a volunteering opportunity, and there will be no monetary compensation (some exception for videographers). However, CAIMUN will be glad to provide you with volunteer hours or reference for your contribution. As you are all volunteers, we will unfortunately not be able to offer you rooms for the conference, so you will need to arrange transportation to/from the Pinnacle Harbourfront Hotel via your own means. CAIMUN is also not providing media equipment, as we trust you will be the most capable with equipment you are already familiar with, so we ask you to provide your own equipment for the event.
If you have any questions, comments, concerns, or special requests, please do not hesitate to contact me at email@example.com. I will be happy to clear up any confusion for you, and I would love to hear any new or interesting ideas you have.
The deadline for Media Team applications is March 31, 2018 at 11:59PM. This includes both this application and a portfolio (instructions are within the jotform).
