    We can’t wait to help you on your hair journey. We specialize in making low-maintenance hair look fabulous. Our mission is to help you love your hair, your routine, and your style. We focus on Curly, Wavy, and Coily cuts and bespoke hair color.

    Please skip any questions you’re unsure of - answering more helps us serve you better. We like to reserve the station just for you, and knowing how much time to book is important to keeping a timely schedule.

    About dbs Salon

    dbs Salon is owned by Sandra Moreno, a Redken Certified Colorist, Deva Advanced Stylist, and RëzoCut artist specializing in curly and natural textures.

    dbs Salon is part of Triptych Studios Inc., our parent company, and our legal DBA is DBS Salon. We have multiple stylists available, and you may request a specific stylist on this form. You can also view our team’s work on Instagram at @dbs_salon.

    All of our stylists are employees and work together as a team to help you feel and look your best.

    Booking Process for New Guests
    To ensure the proper time is scheduled, online booking is currently suspended for new guests. Once you’ve had your first visit, this feature can be enabled for you. If we cannot find an available appointment, this form will add you to our cancellation waitlist. When your name comes up, we’ll contact you with an opportunity to book based on the contact preferences you selected. If you did not upload a photo, our receptionist will reach out for one to ensure the proper time is reserved for your visit.

    Wait Times: Openings may be available immediately, but for longer services or evening/weekend requests, the wait may be longer. Haircut and base color services may be available sooner, while highlighting or color corrections may need to be scheduled in advance.

    Cancellations: We receive cancellations 2–3 days in advance, in line with our 48-hour cancellation policy. We’ll reach out if your request fits the available time, which may allow you to book sooner than expected. For quick openings, we may post them on Instagram - follow @dbs_salon to stay updated!

    Pricing: Prices range from Level 1 to Level 9 and are subject to change. View individual stylist pricing [here]. Pricing is updated on an annual basis.

    New Guests: Add Your Signature Start for extra time to discuss your hair goals, create a custom plan, and learn how to care for your hair.

    Eco Fee: A $3 ECO Fee applies to each visit to support our commitment to recycling 95% of beauty waste.

    Returning Guest Appointments
    To ensure availability for existing guests, we limit new guest advance bookings to 12 weeks (3 months). After your first appointment, you’ll be able to book up to 1 year in advance.

    You may register for the ability to view your appointments and cancel them by signing up on our website.

  • How long is your hair when pulled straight? All haircut categories include every texture, including straight, wavy, curly, coily, and tight curls. Curl pattern alone does not determine your booking category.For example, someone with tight curls may still be booked as a Short Cut, Medium Cut, Long Cut, or Extra Long Cut depending on their stretched length, density, and the time needed. Someone with straight hair may also be booked into a curly/timing category if that is the amount of time needed for their haircut. If you are unsure which category to choose, select the option that best matches your stretched length and hair density, and we can adjust your booking if needed.*
  • What is your availability like? Evenings and Saturdays are most popular and will have a longer wait. We close at 7pm and many stylists take their last appointment at 5pm.*

  • CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING NOTICE:

    At your Appointment

    • A valid credit card will be required to secure all appointments and will be charged in the event a Cancellation Fee applies.
    • Please do not bring guests with you as space is limited. They will be asked to sit in the lobby while you are receiving your service.
    • If you arrive to your appointment late or with wet hair you may be charged an additional fee.
    • All children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult unless consent is given by phone or email prior to the appointment.
    • If you are sick/contagious please reschedule! Keeping our stylists and you healthy is our priority!
    • Please arrive on time to your appointment, a late arrival will impact your appointment and extra time fees may apply. If you are more than 15 minutes late we may need to cancel your appointment and charge our late cancellation fee.

    Your appointments are very important to us, it is reserved especially for you, we understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 48 hours notice for cancellations.

    CONFIRMATION TEXT & EMAIL  As a courtesy, we will email and text to confirm your service appointments up to three business days prior to your appointment date. However, if we are unable to reach you,  please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments and our cancellation fee.

    STRICT AND ENFORCED 48 HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY!  Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. Our appointments are confirmed 72 hours or more in advance because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago.  Since the services are reserved for you personally, a Cancellation fee will apply.  Cancellation fees may be waived if your appointment is filled by another guest but this is not guaranteed.

    • Less than 48 hour notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount.
    • “NO SHOWS” will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount.
       

    Please reschedule your appointment if you are feeling unwell. This will be strictly enforced for our mutual safety.

    We require a credit card to reserve your appoitment. It is very easy to create an online account with DBS Salon Online Booking where you can book, cancel and reschedule your appointments at any time. Please create your account and add your credit card to complete your appointment reservation.   Please note, your card may be charged if you do not cancel within our 48 hour cancellation policy as stated above. If you are having problems creating your account, please ensure that you are not using an auto-generated password and that you are following all password requirements. DBS Salon uses the best in merchant processing.

    Thank you for choosing DBS Salon for your color or chemical service. We take pride in our education, experience, and long-standing relationships with our guests. Chemical and color services can create beautiful results, but they also involve variables that may affect the final outcome.

    Please review the following information carefully before your service:

    1) Color and chemical services can have varying results based on your hair’s current condition, texture, porosity, density, previous color history, chemical history, at-home products, medications, minerals, environmental exposure, and other factors. Desired results cannot be guaranteed.

    2) It is extremely important that you tell your stylist about any and all previous services, products, or treatments used on your hair, including professional services, box color, henna, lightener, perms, relaxers, smoothing treatments, direct dyes, fashion colors, metallic dyes, color removers, medications, and at-home treatments.

    3) Chemical and color services may affect the integrity of your hair. Your stylist will make professional recommendations to help protect your hair, but some dryness, fading, breakage, texture change, or damage may still occur.


    4) Although we take care to protect your clothing, chemical products, color, lightener, water, toner, or styling products may come into contact with your clothing. We recommend wearing clothing you are comfortable exposing to salon products. If you prefer, you may change into a salon smock.

    5) Jewelry, including earrings and necklaces, may be exposed to products, water, or tools during your service and could be damaged or misplaced. We recommend removing jewelry before your appointment.

    6) Please contact dbs Salon any time after your service if you have questions or concerns. We want the opportunity to support you and address concerns as soon as possible.

    Chemical / Color Service Acknowledgment and Liability Waiver

    I understand that I am choosing to receive a chemical and/or color service at dbs Salon, operated by Triptych Studios Inc.

    I have informed my service provider of all previous processes, products, and treatments used on my hair to the best of my knowledge, including professional services, at-home color, box color, lightener, henna, perms, relaxers, smoothing treatments, fashion colors, color removers, and any other chemical or color history.

    I understand that this information is necessary for my service provider to assess my hair and make appropriate recommendations. I understand that withholding or forgetting information about my hair history may increase the risk of damage, breakage, uneven results, unexpected color results, or unpredictable chemical reactions.

    I understand that chemical and color services may affect the condition and integrity of my hair. I understand that desired results are not guaranteed and that multiple appointments may be required to work toward my goal.

    I understand that my service provider may recommend professional products, treatments, maintenance appointments, or aftercare instructions to support the health of my hair and maintain my results. I understand that failure to follow recommended aftercare may affect the longevity, condition, and appearance of my hair.

    I understand that my service provider has been trained in the service technique and will use their professional judgment to create the best possible result. I agree not to hold dbs Salon, Triptych Studios Inc., or my service provider liable for unexpected, undesired, uneven, or unpredictable results when services are performed in good faith based on the information I have provided.

    Patch Test Acknowledgment

    I understand that a patch test may be recommended or required by my service provider and/or the product manufacturer at least 48 hours before certain color or chemical services.

    If I choose to decline or forego the recommended patch test, I understand that I may be increasing my risk of an allergic reaction, irritation, sensitivity, or other adverse response. I agree not to hold DBS Salon, Triptych Studios Inc., or my service provider liable for allergic reactions or sensitivities that may occur if I choose to proceed without the recommended patch test.

    By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read and understand this information and agree to proceed with my chemical and/or color service.
