FERPA STATEMENT
I acknowledge that (i) Data may include personally indentifiable information from education records that are subjected to FERPA ("FERPA Records"); and (ii) to the extent that data includes FERPA records, we will be considered a "School Official" (as that term is used in FERPA) with a "legitimate educational interest" in FERPA records; and (iii) will comply with all obligations that FERPA imposes on a school official.
I understand that with certain regulatory exceptions, Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 requires the written consent of a student to authorize the release of educational records or personally identifiable information contained in such records.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) must be on file before data can be released to a third party.
