SVTU Fly Fishing 101
Have you ever wondered what it's all about? Attend our Fly Fishing 101 afternoon and find out.
When: Saturday, April 28, 2018 (rain or shine)
Time: 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Lunch @ 11:30, classes start @ 12:30)
Where: IWLA Jim Berrier Memorial Lake, 12057 Clopper Road*
Come join us for a no-cost afternoon of learning and fun. The chapter will provide your lunch which will be served at 11:30. If you will not be joining us for lunch be there by noon.
The afternoon sessions will start at 12:30 p.m. where will we will have five hours of hands-on instruction on: equipment, knots, flies, the difference between lake and stream fishing, and beginning casting. There will also be sessions on casting stroke refinement for more advanced students.
The event will happen rain or shine. Please wear comfortable shoes and clothes. If you have your own equipment, bring it with you.

*Some navigation systems can’t find this location. If you are proceeding west on Clopper, after the Seneca Creek State Park entrance look for the big YELLOW rocks on the right-hand side of the road before the bridge. The entrance is hidden between the rocks and the guard-rail for the bridge. If you cross the stream, you’ve gone too far!
