Welcome to the Warrensburg 5k and kids fun run!

RACE INFORMATION -

5K - This year the 5k Race will start at 7 am at the corner of Illini Park (265 S. Main St. Warrensburg, IL). The race route is 3.1 miles and will be posted on our website one week prior to the race. First Place awards will be given to male and female runners age divisions (14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-64, 65+). Second and Third place runners of each age division will receive recognition. Awards will be given for first place overall male and female runners. The cost of the 5k is $30 prior to July 7th. After July 7th the cost is $35. To ensure you get a shirt, you must register before July 7th.

Kids Fun Run - The Fun Run will begin at 8:30 am. The kids will run approximately .25 miles and when they get to their "finish line" they will receive their medal. Kids 11 and under run for free and receive a participation medal. If the child would like a race t-shirt, the cost will be $12.00.

Runners age 19 and under - $20.00 (register before July 7th for a race shirt)

Kids Fun Run ages 11 and under (approximately .25mile)- FREE run registration before July 7th and for a participation medal. The cost for a race t-shirt is $12.00.

In agreeing to this waiver for myself, or as parent or legal guardian for the entrant named below, I hereby release from responsibility and hold harmless from any claim, foreseen or unforeseen by me or my family, estate, heirs or assigns, the Warrensburg Corn Festival/Warrensburg 5K and Fun Run and its agents, employees, officers, volunteers, other participants, any sponsors, advertisers and owners or lessors of the premises on which the Warrensburg 5K and Fun Run takes place from any and all claims, damages, demands, injuries and losses, whatsoever, arising from my transportation to, participation in and or presence at the Warrensburg 5K and Fun Run, and do so entirely of my own initiative. I understand that running on a public street or road can be a risky and dangerous activity and may result in serious bodily injury, including permanent disability, paralysis and death (collectively “risks”). I fully accept and assume all such risks and responsibility for all costs, damages, and losses I incur as a result of participation in the Warrensburg 5K and Fun Run. I agree to obey all traffic laws, race instructions, wear proper running attire, and participate in a safe manner. I certify that I have read this of free will and accord. If the entrant is a minor, I, the minor’s parent or legal guardian, understand the nature of running/walking activities and the minor’s experience and capabilities and believe the minor to be qualified to participate in the Warrensburg 5K and Fun Run. I also authorize emergency medical treatment if I or the minor(s) named below is/are injured. I hereby grant permission to use my and my child’s (children’s) name and/or likeness for promotional purposes or publicity.
