• Art Market Registration Now Open
  • Once again, we're taking over Hoffner Street and hosting a Fine Art & Artisan Street Fair. And yes, we're bringing back the LIVE MUSIC and the BEER GARDEN!

2018's SUMMER MARKET is on Saturday, August 4th, starting at 9am!

The Art Fair, which includes the music & beer garden runs Noon - 9pm

    • Unlike most art events, alongside this art fair we host a first-come-first-serve community yard sale event that starts & ends a few hours earlier in the day. This helps us kick off the overall event with a "sleepy weekend shopper" vibe, before it transitions into a full on art & music experience along Hoffner Street!

If interested in the history of the event -- which runs in conjunction with Corridor 127, also known as The Worlds Longest Yard Sale -- please learn more on the event's ABOUT PAGE.

We're looking for painters, sculptors, designers, furniture makers, fasionistas, accessory-creators and more! Really, if you're a creative group or an individual looking to show off what you do and/or make, we'd like you to consider joining us. All artists, artisans, and high-level crafters are encouraged to submit work to Northside Summer Market.

If interested in participating, please note:

      • This event is run by a fine arts focussed, non-profit organization .
      • We are not Art Basil Miami-Beach (or trying to be).
      • We are most interested in artists with affordable versions of their BIG work.

      • This event is PERFECT for printmakers, ceramicists, and (some) jewelry makers.
      • This event is GREAT for artists who want to move sketches, experimentals, etc.
      • This event is AMAZING for other arts non-profits looking to join a unique street fair!
      • This event is also good for painters, who have small (and some big) work.
      • The Most Successful artists present a variety of work at a variety of price points.

      • If you're an exhibiting artist, and only have work priced at $500 and up, we welcome your participation! But if you don't have sketches or studies at a lower price point, this event is probably not the best fit for you (if sales are of highest priority).

      A little more:

This is still a relatively new event. While our community-wide yard sale and Corridor 127 have been happening for over 15 years, the art market portion of Northside Summer Market is only on year three -- beginning in 2016, when we decided to expand the event. Still, if interested in the statistics: Year one we had approximately 30 booths (including 12 artist) and last year we had over 60 booths (including 40 artists). This year we're expecting similar, if not not larger numbers.

Our goal is to create an event that is an awesome platform for working artists looking to make quick sales and introduce their names to our community; but we're also creating an event for new and old collectors who'd like to add high quality, yet affordable, artwork to their collections.

Early-bird registration for this event is $25 and closes on April 30th ...or while spots remain available. Each registration is for a 10'x10' location, but if you'd like consideration for more space, please just let us know at the bottom of the form. Some of our most successful participants have opted for a 20' x 10' setup.

To participate in the art market, you must provide your own tent(s).

Tables, chairs, etc are also up to you. TENTS ARE SIMPLY REQUIRED to give the event continuity, like what's pictured in the image below (taken as we were completing our setup last year).

If accepted during our first round of selections, you'll be notified the week of May 28th.
(Final notifications will be announced no later than July 25th.)
