The Coalition for Court Access was created by the Supreme Court of Indiana on May 17, 2016 to develop and implement a statewide plan to improve the availability and quality of civil legal services for persons of limited means. The Coalition coordinates all Supreme Court related programs designed to provide civil legal aid to low income Hoosiers. The Coalition includes judges, law school representatives, civil legal aid and pro bono providers, and Indiana State Bar Association and Foundation members.
The Coalition for Court Access Summer Fellowship program is designed to survey and assess resources, needs, issues, and concerns that affect or impact court access in Indiana counties by incorporating into the process developed by the Coalition legal needs assessment team in selected Indiana Counties.
