About the scholarship:
The D.C. Cruickshank Family Scholarship was established to assist and encourage young Indigenous women to enrol in full time studies in an undergraduate course/ Aboriginal Orientation Course or UWA Smart Start at The University of Western Australia.
Scholarship selection is based on financial need, academic merit and other related factors.
Eligibility:
The scholarship is open to young Indigenous women who are commencing as full time students in their first undergraduate degree or the Aboriginal Orientation Course or UWA Smart Start at The University of Western Australia. This scholarship is open only to students under the age of 21 years on March 1 of the current year.
Duration:
Each scholarship will be offered for one year.
Value:
The value is determined by the annual income after capitalisation according to UWA Policy on investment.
Making your application:
To complete your application, you will need to upload the following documents:
- Proof of current enrolment
- Academic record
- Financial records (proof of ABSTUDY, other Centrelink allowances, other scholarships, etc.)
- Confirmation of Aboriginality/Torres Strait Islander descent
