We are currently providing scholarships for residents attending Independence School District in Independence, Mo. Scholarships are limited.

PLEASE NOTE, IF APPROVED A PARENT/GAUARDIAN AND YOUR PLAYER WILL NEED TO ATTEND A MANDATORY SCHOLARSHIP MEETING ON

November 22nd 2025 2pm-4pm at Bingham Middle School. IF YOU DON'T ATTEND AT THIS TIME, YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED and a new applicant will be chosen to fill your spot.
If you have multiple players, you need to apply for each player!

Parent, we want to make sure that you're just as committed as your player. We want to make sure you will support your player and attend 80 percent of all games and practices. Being involved with your player will make them more successful. *

Education is one of your greatest assets, one of the requirements to play most sports is your grades. You will be required to keep a C average without any failing grades. Please bring a copy of thier grades to the mandatory meeting.
Athlete: Please explain why you want to play this sport and what you hope to achieve.*
Athlete: We want to make sure that you are committed to playing this sport. We want to make sure you will attend 90 percent of all games and practices. We also think teamwork and sportsmanship should be your top priority.*
I understand this program is limited on funds and it helps as many children as possible. If your child quits this program and Positive Life Athletic Youth loses money because of this, you will be responsible for those losses as other children will lose out.

You futher understand that any false or misleading information will be grounds for dismissal from the scholarship program and if your scholarship was approved, you will be responsible to pay back any funds that were dispersed on your behalf.
