WELL DUNN PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
Well Dunn provides inclusive and equitable experiences to socioeconomically diverse students that help them realize their aspirations to work in the music and entertainment industry. We were founded in 2012 in memory of Emily Dunn and we have worked with hundreds of students to find meaningful mentorships, internships, and employment in the music industry.
The mentorship program is an 8-week online learning experience where the mentee will attend weekly Music Industry Sessions and be paired with a Music Industry professional mentor.
The internship program runs in the summer, fall, and spring. We have internship opportunities avilable with our partner companies. We encourage students to apply year-round. If you are interested in a summer (2023) opportunity, we encourage you to apply in November.
JOB SHADOW PROGRAM:
Well Dunn students meet a tour on the road for an all-inclusive look into the tour. Meet Tour Manager or Production Manager and spend an hour or even 24 hours. Opportunities can run from load-in to load-out, can be a tour around the venue, FOH, etc, can be a conversation with the tour manager, accountant, production manager, light and sound operators, etc.
BONNAROO + WELL DUNN EXTERNSHIP PROGRAM:
The Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival and Well Dunn are currently seeking enthusiastic externs for the 2022 event! Externships provide an excellent, hands-on opportunity for college students looking for valuable experiential learning at one of the biggest music experiences of the summer.
Externships are unpaid positions for college credit only (some scholarships available) - proof of credit eligibility is required to participate in the program. Available positions appeal to a diverse range of interests and skillsets - past positions include externships within departments such as Administration, ASL Program, Clean Vibes / Sustainability, Credentials, Media, Operations & Logistics, and festival VIP.
Sleeping arrangements on-site will be provided for the length of the position, as will meals. Externs must supply their own laptops and transportation to and from Manchester. Dates on site vary depending on the needs of individual positions, and start as early as June 1 through the conclusion of the event. Minimum availability from June 11-18 is required to apply. Highly qualified candidates may be asked to arrive earlier.
