Thank you for your interest in the MSU Farrier School. We are offering two courses, a 12 week or a 24 week course.  Please indicate below which course and start date you are interested in.

12 Week Program:  Tuition: $9,600     Supplies: $2,000     Books: $350      Ttl: $11,950
24 Week Program:  Tuition: $15,600   Supplies: $2,000     Books: $350       Ttl: $17,950

Payment of $1000.00 deposit is due within 10 days of notice of Program acceptance.  Complete payment of tuition, supplies and books is required 30 days prior to the first day of class.  (Program starts in January,  June or September). Tuition and fees are subject to change without notice.

Please note:  The MSU Farrier School does not meet accrediation requirements needed to qualify for tradtional student loans. 

MSU Farrier School will be held at the MSU Horse Teaching and Research Center located at 3327 Collins Rd, Lansing, MI  48910.  The course typical meets Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (approximately).

Please include 2 letters of recommendation with this application. Recommendation letters should focus on the applicants, work ethic, personal character, and horse handling ability.  Letters can be submitted on line with this enrollment application or can be mailed to:
